Okay, this is a first. I've never heard of anyone doing such a thing. As Kim Kardashian is walking the red carpet to celebrate the launch of her new fragrance, someone throws a bunch of flour all over her? What a crazy-stupid thing to do!
I cannot imagine the terror that must have broken out when this occurred. In this day and age, tossing any kind of powdery substance at a person with a crowd standing around is enough to get you tackled to the ground and treated as a potential terrorist. At first glance, there is no way to tell what that powder might be, and it is understandable that onlookers would fear the worst.
Thank goodness it appears that it was only baking flour this attacker tossed at Kardashian. Still, that does not mean it was a harmless prank. No matter what the substance is, it is not healthy to breathe in a fine powder and to have it potentially get in your eyes. Plus on a less serious but still irritating note, Kardashian was dressed to the nines in all black, and she ended up covered in the flour. What a mess it had to be trying to get all that out of her clothes and hair.
It seems Kardashian is not interested in pressing charges, but there was a police report filed nonetheless. I cannot say I would feel as forgiving if I was in her place. I'm just glad it was only flour and not something more dangerous that was thrown. Fortunately, she was able to get herself cleaned up and back to her party, so the whole night wasn't ruined. I hope security is a little tighter at her next event.
